Roosevelt

  2. What is this character’s name? - Roosevelt
  3. What is their ancestry (i.e. human, elf, dwarf, halfling, etc)? - Triton
  4. What is your job or role (i.e. farmer, hierling/mercenary, shopowner, bandit, etc)? - Prince and Alchemist
  5. How old are you? - Late 30s or early 40s
  6. Describe your physical appearance. - Being wealthy but not posh in appreance, he wears gray and blue with silver accents in his tunics, nice shirts and pants. Signet ring and a tarnished silver amulet/necklace. Thin, tall, hunched over.
  7. Describe yourself with 3 adjectives. - Melancoly, Helpful, Determined
  8. What is a valuable item/piece of lore/secret that this character possesses? Or do they value an ideal/concept or particular person (i.e. family member, guild member, honor, justice, love etc.) - There is a royal jewel from his mother the queen inside the amulet. He is also well versed in poison-making, toxins, and diseases (think a passive mad scientist).
  9. What is a particular quest you would be willing to recruit or hire the player characters to go do? - Hire adventurers to collect information on a hidden town and bring back knowledge if a cure for the disease was found there.
  10. What would be their reward for succeeding? - A LOT of money or able to teach someone how to make one potion if they are proficient in alchemy/alchemist's supplies.
  11. What would be the consequence of failure or refusing the call? - Something is about to happen in the town which Roosevelt is visting. If he is ignored, he will then journey to the next town, and a major illness will befall the town you met him in.

  • What are the goals and motivations of your character? - Figuring out exactly what this disease that killed his city and kingdom was.
  • How do these affect your general personality? - He has a one-track mind in finding out the truth of this illness, sometimes to a determinal flaw.
  • Do you have a particular accent or language? Any idiosyncrasies in how you act and speak? - Speaks like a posh Eeyore.
  • What impact have you made on the world? How have you shaped the local area? - Like the Mothman, there are two rumors that surround him: either he will give your town a boon or you will be struck by disaster.
  • Do you have any current problems that prevent you from being a bigger player on the stage? - His reputation and the surrounding rumors make information-gathering difficult, which is why he needs the adventurers to go check out the lead for him.
